Tariro Makanha

Tariro Paul Makanha is a 26-year-old voice over artist who started his career in 2019. With training from Elevate Africa (voice-over training academy) he has managed to harness his baritone and how he executes it. Since 2019 Tariro has done voice-overs for quite a number of companies. Some of them include Hyundai, AFC Commercial Bank, Afri-Blocks, Oven Art Bakery, Nick’s motors and Macydo amongst many others. Before starting his voice-over career, Tariro attained his undergraduate degree at Monash graduating with a cum laude. Whilst at Monash he ventured in extra curriculums such as Choir where he was the Chairperson two years running. Singing was another factor which helped him to have the voice control he has. After Monash he went to the University of Cape Town in 2019, where he pursued his postgraduate degree in Development Studies under the Sociology department. Whilst at UCT he managed to become the choir chairperson in 2020. Tariro owes it to music as it helped him harness his voice over skills. He aspires to be one of the top voice over artists in spaces such as animation and radio ads.
